The Great Saltair is a historical landmark and Salt Lake City’s premier concert venue, sitting on the south shore of the Great Salt Lake, about sixteen miles from downtown Salt Lake City. Built in 1893, the venue has endured multiple fires and floods however the legendary venue continues to live on. The Saltair you see today was built in 1983 and has been a global tourist attraction, as well as SLC’s premier concert / Festival venue ever since. A 2005 renovation restored the venue with a state of the art sound system, an upstairs mezzanine area, and a picturesque amphitheater.
For Das Energi, The Great Saltair will become a sonic sanctuary meticulously crafted to foster the life and energy of dance music. For one night only, the venue will be home to beautiful decorations, electrifying production, local vendors, a 21+ VIP lounge, and more, all to the breathtaking backdrop of the Great Salt Lake. To enhance the force of dance music event more, we are bringing in an additional 100,000 watt sound system, laser shows, intelligent lighting, and much more exclusively for Das Energi. Directions to the Great Saltair: Off I-80 (I-80 west if coming from Salt Lake City area) it is exit 104 Saltair Drive. We are 10 miles west of the Salt Lake International airport.
